Source: www.effortlesshr.com In an outsourcing company, every department is expected to perform their assigned role for the company to succeed and develop. But amongst all the departments, HR is believed to handle the greater stress for they are most in tune with the employee engagement and well-being. To simplify, while managers are busy working out ways to optimize their business, HR department is the one in-charge in creating policies that will be followed by company’s workforce. As the HR Department handles all employee concerns, one issue seems to fabricate every company and not only BPO’s. This might seem a common issue, but employee engagement has been an undying issue on most organizations including the outsourcing companies. According to research, the average level of engagement of managers to their employees remains low which is not a good sign. Keeping the employees happy, satisfied, and engaged is important in keeping the client’s content which is not an easy task to do for a flourishing company with numerous competitors. Although the rising issue is between managers and employees, company managers can control or end the issue by bringing out the big guns in the form of their dedicated HR team. The HR department can make some changes to the employee engagement policies in order to help managers address the subject. Supporting the Business Although the HR department handles everything about company workforce does not mean that they cannot help the manager in other ways. Once the HR and manager help each other, they can act as a great support for the business. This is the kind of synergy other businesses are still missing. From a recent survey, only a few percent of employees can understand how their company can help them charter their career growth. Although these percent can still increase in time, it can only happen if the manager and HR work together in creating a companywide career management framework. As a result, employees who are engaged and are aware of what their company for their personal growth is found to be more loyal and productive. Strengthening company connections HR and Managers can be compared to shoes, one cannot move without the other they always work as a pair. Especially when it comes to company’s manpower, managers can seek help from the HR department with regards to the staffing requirements and redesigning schedules. Overall, these two branches of the company working together can resolve more conflicts in the workplace as they come up with better and more effective policies that can benefit both parties.
